just watched brokeback mountain.

For those of you who are not in the know Brokeback Mountain was originally a short story written by french writer Anne Proulx in 1997. It was published in the New Yorker, and with the help of screenwriters Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, has been masterfully expanded into a visually magnificent film which is as affecting as it is beautiful. I loved it! One of my favorites definitely. Please feel free to leave a comment. Did you like it?

Although I liked the movie, the short story was better. Either way, I think the Oscar nominations say a lot - Ang Lee has done a really great job.
